Debentures, representing £1000, £600, £200, and £100 respectively, payable to bearer. ; These debentures are secured on the Public Revenues of the Colony, . Tho Principal will be repaid at par not earlior than ten years nor later than twenty-five years from the 21st December, 1898, the Government reserving to itself the right of redemption (by conversion or otherwise) 011 tho 15th February or lfith August, 1907, or in any year after the year 1907, upon giving six months' notice in the Government Gazette, and in at least four newspapers published in the colony, of its intention to do so. Both Principal and Interest will bo made payablo at the Treasury, Wellington, New Zealand. Dividends, represented by coupons attached to the debentures, will be payable at the Treasury, Wellington, on the 15th Fobruary and on the 15th August in each year during the currency of the Loan. The issue price will bo at the rate of £100 in money for every £100 expressed in debentures (below which 110 tender will be accepted), payablo as follows--5 por cent, deposit on application 45 „ oil Monday, the 21st December, 1898 26 „ 011 Monday, the 18th January, 1597 25 „ on Monday, the 15th February, 1897. Payments may be made in full at any time on or after the 21st December, 18:W, and prior to the 15th February, 1897, at a discount at the rate of one pound ten shillings per centum per annum. If cheques are lodged with a tender they must be drawn upon a Bank in Wellington, and be marked by such Bank as " good" for fourteen days. Cheques issued by a Bank need not be so marked. Tenders may be for the whole or any part of the Loau, and must state what amount of money will lie given for every £100 of the Debentures tendered for.
