FORBES.-On May 10, at Christcburch, Colonel W. E. Forbes, late Bengal Staff Corps, eldest surviving son of the late Hon. Robert Forbes, 8.C.5., aged 66 years. GILLAN.-On May 14, at Puriri, Mrs. Ann Gillan, relict of the late Lachlan McLiver, timber merchant, Auckland, and mother of McLiver Bros., Neavesville Goldfleld, Tairua. The funeral will leave the wharf on arrival of Rotomabana from Thames to-day (Saturday), at half-past one. JACKS' iN.-On May 15, at her residence, Kingsland, Eliza Priscilla Jackson, dearly beloved mother of Mrs. A. W. Page. The funeral will leave her late residence for St. Mark's Cemetery, Remuera, at 1.80 p.m. to-morrow (Sunday). Friends pleast accept this intimation.
