PrtSiAuwlalien,—electric Telegraph.—CopyrlthJ. London, May 15. Speaking before a meeting the Colonial party of the House of Commons, Major* General Hutton declared that Met bourne was one of the best fortified places in the Empire. Sydney also had excellent defences.
