STILL HARPING ON THE PRESS.
[»T TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION,] Dunedin, Monday. The Hon J. MoK,enzie addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents at Naseby tonight. His speech was on the lines of that at Pftlmerflton. He again referred to the Press Association being turned into a political machine. He said a roporb about himself had been stint all over the colony from a small place named Levin, not by the Press Association at all, but by a private gentleman, who had no right to use the press agency in the matter, and this gentleman, by means of this report, had traduced and misrepresented the speaker. He had beer, told by a reliable gentleman present that the report was far from being correct. He also referred to the absence from the PiUmerston roporb of the rote carried at the meeting. A vote of thanks to Mr. MqKenzie for his address, and 'confidence in the Government of which he is a member, was carried unanimously amidst applause.
