RUSHED BY A BULL.
As adventure of an exciting nature happened to Mr. William Bradley, of Te Kopuru, at Tatarariki, hist Tuesday, which illicit eijfily have ended far more seriously than it fortunately lias. He was riding through Mr, Langford's paddock after some cattle, when, almost before ho was aware of it, lie was rushed by a bull, which gored his horse's side. He quickly dismounted and made off, his horso almost dropping under him before lie readied the ground. The bull gored the horso threo times, killing it on the spot, and then made after Mr. Bradley, who was making for tho fence. This ho reached, and two other fences afterwards, but they seemed to be little or no check to tho bull, which went through them after him. Fortunately Mr. Bradley managed to maintain bis lead till be got to the big drain, and into this ho jumped, pretty much exhausted, and glad of its timely sholter. Tho bull is to be destroyed. —[Northorn Wairoa Correspondent.]
