ODDFELLOWS' CONFERENCE.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. At the Conference of the Manchester Unity ot Oddfellows tlio election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Brother Smith, jun., Wellington; Vice-President, Brother Waters, Wellington; Secretary, Brother Kershaw, Wellington ; Assistant Secretary, Brother Calvert, Otago. Bishop Wallis was amongst those present. Brother Calvert moved, "That the Conference desires to oxpress its emphatic opinion that all table contributions should be ma sufficient for benefits promised, and urges various districts of the Order to immediately adopt some table certified by a competent actuary." Aftor a long discussion the motion was carried unanimously. A lengthy discussion took placo on the motion for the introduction of a scheme for superannuation, which was also carried.
