The Hastings steam 'flourmill has a large quantity of locally-grown wheat on hand for gristing. The grain has been for the most part grown by the natives.. The mill will start next week. The City Council-invites tenders for fencing the reserve in Emily Place. The Town Clerk elsewhere publishes a' caution to householders against depositing dust, rubbish, or fruit skins in any street, channel, or footway, etc. A limelight series of views will be exhibited at the Suitors' Hall, Lower Albert-street, this evening. They consist of 60 coloured pictures of the Channel Islands.
