Whanoarki, Thursday. A dwelling house on the old racecourse, the property of Mrs. Storey, *nd occupied by Mr. George Cooke, was burned to the ground this morning at) four a.m. The building was insured in the Now Zealand for £120, and tho furniture in the Phoenix for £50. Tho origin of the fire cannot be accounted for. Tho occupants had some difficulty in Retting out of the building, as the tire' had a good hold before anyone awoke. _____
