The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whangarei last night, and leaves for the same place again to-night. Yestetday the Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford arrived from Whakatane, Xauranga, an 1 U iiangamata. with a cargo of maize and sundries. .She left again in the evening for Tairua, Whangamata, and Whakataue.

Tiie Government steamer Hinemoa left for the North last evening, calling at Tiritiri to land stares, etc.

Messrs. Donald and Edenborough's steamer Richmond left for Rarotonga and Tahiti yesterday morning with a large general cargo. List evening the Northern Company's steamer Argyle left for Kuaotunu and Mercury Bay. The Northern Company's steamer Douglas left for Whangarei last evening. Early this morning the Northern Company's steamer Clansman arrives from the Not th, and leaves for l'aurauga in the evening.

To-day the Union Company's steamer Taupo arrives from the South with a cargo of produce, and proceeds to Fiji to-morrow afternoon.

The Union tympany's steamer Takapuna is timed to reach Ouehunga early to morrow morning with the Southern portion of the outward English aud American mails. The brieantine Stanley was floated out of the Auckland Dock yesterday, after cleaning and painting. Yesterday the barque Tana took in a consignment of timber for London from one of the coasting vessels. The ship Auckland sailed from the Bluff for London yesterday. Yesterday the Onion Company's steamer Talune arrived at Wellington from Sydney. THE MARIPOSA. The mail steamer Mariposa is expected to irrive from Sydney this evening, and will continue her voyage to Apia, Honolulu, and Ban Francisco at two p.m. to-morrow.

THE MISSION YACHT.

Yesterday the Melauesian mission yacht Southern Cross took in a supply of coal at the hulks for her Island cruise, and berthed at thy Hobson-street wharf. On Monday the yacht will take in stores, etc., and will leave for Norfolk Island and Melanesia as soon as the Monowai arrives from San Francisco. THE RAKAIA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rakaia arrived from Wellington yesterday afternoon after a fine weather passage, and was floated into the Calliope Dock for general overhaul.
