CRICKET. CHURCHILL V. WAIRANQI.
A cricket match was played at Churchill on March 14, between the above clubs, which ended in an easy win for Churchill by 58 runs. Churchill went first to tho wickets, and scored 74. Wairangi replied with 41. Churchill in their second innings scored 63 for the loss of two wickets, and declared their innings closed, and disposed of Wairangi for 38 before the call of time.
