Ciiegwidden, of Wellington), at St. Augustine's Church, Napier, on Wednesday. The bride, who was giren away by her father, was attended by Miss Minnie Cbegwiddon and Miss Minnie Palmer as bridesmaids, and Mr. E. Schwabe, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. A presentation to Mr. H. H. G. Ralfe was made at the police-station last week by Inspector Pardy, on behalf of the members of the Dunedin police force. lhe presentation took the shape of a purse of sovereigns, end in handing it to Mr. Ralfe the inspector gpoko in very complimentary terms of the manner in which that gentleman had filled the position of clerk of the police court. Sergeants O'Neill and Keating and Chief Detective O'Connor spoke in similar terms. Mr. F. J. Pearcy, chief steward of the steamer Aotea, which vessel arrived at Wellington from London on Wednesday, was presented with three addresses by the passengers, expressing their high appreciation of his services during the voyage. One address was signed by passengers from London to Capetown, another by those who came on board at Capetown, and went ashore at Hobart, and the third was from the forward section of the steerage passengers.
