Mm. F. J. Moss arrived from Rarotonga by tbe Richmond on Saturday night. The Hon. John McKenzio, Minister of Lands, arrived at Gisborne, yesterday, by the Waihora.

Viscount Massarene was born in 1842 and married in 1870 the only child of Major Whyte-Melville, whose "The Interpreter' is one of the most fascinating of' novels. The Hon. Oriel Skeffineton is 7 84 years of age.
