Perth, March 14. A Terrific storm occurred at Kanowna, followed by immenso hailstones, which broke nearly all the windows in the town. The wind stripped the roofs off many houses, and the business places are flooded. Heavy rains have also fallen in the Esperance district.
CHARGE OF CONSPIRACY.
Sydney, March 15.
The hearing of tho charges of conspiracy against the directors and officers of the defunct labour paper, the Daily Post, has concluded, four of tho accused being found guilty. S. Smith and W. A. Holman wen
sentenced to two years, and E. Ellia (editor) and W. Woolridge, to eighteen months each. The others were acquitted-
