LABOUR LEGISLATION.
' [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.] Curistchcrcii, Saturday. A meeting of the committees of the Progressive Liberal Association and Trades and Labour Council, was held last night, to receive a report on alleged sweating in Christchurch. It was decided to request the Government to introduce the Masters and Apprentices Bill, also to bring forward measures giving effect to the principle of eight hours day and minimum wage.
