The barquentine Handa Isle was towed down to the Thames by Ihe Nautilus yesterday morning, to load timber at Gibbons' mill for Melbourne.

At nine o'clock to-night the Union Company's steamer Takapuna is tinted to reach Onehiiuga, from the South and New Plymouth.

THE UPOLU. The ■ Union Company's steamer Upolu, Captain J. T. Rolls, arrived from Fiji last night with a cargo of fruit, etc. Mr. R. Barnes, the purser, reports The Upolu lett Aucklaud at 5 p.m. on February 20, and called ac Russell next day; passed Kandava at 1 a.m. on the 3rd instant, and arrived inside the reef at Suva at noon the same day. Left again at 5 a.m. on the 4th for Levuka, arriving at 11 a.m.; and left again at 6 A.m. the following day for Suva, l'roceeded to Niivua on the 6tli, arriving back in Suva at p.m. the next day, and finally left tor New Zealand at 6 p.m. on the 6th: was abeam of the Poor Knights at 11 a.m.,and reached the wlurf at 830 p.m. yesterday. Had light vaiiable winds on the ruu down. Strong south and south east winds with heavy confused sejs prevailed until the morning of the lltli, when the wind lesseued, but choppy seas continued until arrival on the coast; light south-west wind and sea down the coast to arrival.
