MORNING SESSION. The Conference resumed business in ministerial session at ten a.m. on Saturday. METHODIST UNION IN VICTORIA. The Rev. W. Morlet read a private telegram from Melbourne, giving information that the plan for Methodist union in Victoria had been unanimously adopted, the Union to take effect in 1902, and that a fine and cordid spirit had been manifested. CIRCUITS. The Rev. T. F. Jones had permission to remain for a fifth year, and Revs. Abernethy and Griffcu for a fourth year in their respective circuits." A CANDIDATE FOB THE MINISTRY. UNITED METHODIST FREE CHURCH'S DISTRICT MEETING. The Above meeting resumed its sittings on Saturday and dealt with matters relating to ministers and probationers. It was decided to entertain the application of Mr. E. Miles and receive him as a candidate for the ministry subject to the production of a satisfactory medical certificate. The other case was dealt with in a different manner, An interim report by the representatives attending the Wesleyan Conference was also presented. The meeting then adjourned until 9 a.m. to-day.
