Wellington, Saturday. The looal Amateur Athletic Club's annual sports of to-day were favoured with splendid weather and an excellent attendance of spectators. The flat racing, both sprints and distances, was quite up to previous gatherings, but the cycling events did not prove as attractive as usual. The following are the winners of the chief eventsl2oYds Handicap: Lusk, 6yds; time, 12s. Long Jump: Lusk, 20 feet 9 inches, including one foot handicap; S. Richardron and Powuell, scratch, both jumped 20 feet 6 inches, the former winning in the jump off. Half-mile Bicycle Handicap: Brodie, 60vds; time, lm. 12s. One-mile Walk : Freotli," 100 yds ; time, 7m. 14s. Five-mile Bicycle Handicap : Hunt, 250 yds; _ time, 18m. 3s. 75yds Handicap: Lusk ; time, 73-ss. One-mile Handicap Flat: H. Richardson, 110 yds; time. 4m. 395. One Mile and a-half Bicycle Handicap: F. Castle, 10yds; time, 3m. 46 3-5 ». High Jump: Lusk, 5 feet 72 inches, including 6 inches handicap. 250 yds Ladies' Bracelet Handicap: McGuire, 9yds; time, 275. 440 yds Hurdles: S. Richardson, syds; time, 645. Three-mile Flat Handicap: Playle, 175 yds; time, 16 21 4-5 s. 440 yds Handioap: Bridge, 25yds; time, 53a.
