♦ [BY TELKOKAI'H.—PRKSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. Tub annual report of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' Association shows a membership of 265, as against 223 for tho preccdiug twelve months. The aggregate funds are £902, as against £682. The neb profits for the year wore £150 and interest, and a donation, credited to the relief fund, of £78. Two charges against publicans of selling drink during prohibited hours ware investigated at Carterton. Both informations were dismissed. The annual session of tho Congregational Union opened this morning, and after transacting formal business adjourned until to-morrow. The warship Katoomba arrived from Auckland en route to Akaroa. She called in bore to take on board four seamen who had been invalided. She leaves again tonight for Akaroa.
