THE CLANSMAN « A LONG TRIP. The schooner Clansman arrived from Dunlin last night, after a long trip of 42 days, having met with a continuance of strong headwinds the whole passage, which blew the vessel a long wilt off the land, and prevented her making the coast again. Particulars of the passage appear in another part of this issue. THE NATAL QUEEN. The smart Hob-art barque Natal Queen, Captain J. Davis, arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning, after a quick passage of 12 days. The master reports sailing from the Now South Wales coal port on January 23rd with a. steong north-eatt wind. Experienced northerly and north-easterly winds to the Three Kings, which were passed on Sunday morning last; the North Cape beiug rounded at ten o'clock the same night, A moderate northerly wind carried the vessel to the Hen and Chickens at 6 p.m on Monday, when it veered to the southward, blowing strongly, and accompanied by heavy rains. Tiritiri was passed at 1 a.m. yesterday, tho vessel anchoring in the harbour at 11 a.m. The Natal Queen has berthed at the _ Railway Wharf to discharge, on completion of which, she proceeds to the Thames to load timber at Bag-nail's mill for Melbourne.
