Qoite fifty out of eixby-two milos of the Clermont railway is submerged, and tho porinanont way is badly damaged in many places. Three hundred cases of distress have been relievod in Townsvillo. Tho weather is now terribly hob. The schooner Lavinia was totally wrecked off Majotio Island during tho cyclone. One man drownod. Northern towns report fiorce gales, but the cyclone seems to have concentrated its efforts on Townsvillo.
