Per Gisborne, for Timaru: 55,000 feet white pine timber (to be shipped at the Thames). The Northern Company's steamer Clansman arrived from Tauranga early yesterday morning, and leaves this evening for Russell, Whangaroa, and Mangonui. Yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Wiiangarei, and leaves for the same place again to-night. The Northern Company's steamer Waiotahi arrived from Tairua, Mercury Bay, and Kuaotunu on Saturday afternoon. She leaves to-morrow eveuing for Tauranga and Opotiki. On Saturday morning the Northern Company's steamer lona arrived from Taurauga and Opotiki with a cargo of maize, etc. She leaves for Kuaotunu and Mercury Bay tonight at 9 o'clock. The Northern Company's steamer Douglas arrived from Whangarei on Saturday with a cargo of coal, and leaves tor the same places again this evening. Yesterday the schooner Gisborne sailed for the Thames to load timber at Bagnall's mill for Timaru. _ Mr. M. Niccol has fixed the barque Asia to load timber at the Kaipara for Sydney. To-day the brigantine Anthons sails for the Kaipara to load timber for a West Australian port. On Saturday the schooner Queen was Boated out of the Auckland dock and berthed at the Queen-street Whaftt to load for Hokianga, for which place she sails tomorrow. The schooner Gisborno sailed for the Thames yesterday morning to load timber for Timaru. On Saturday night the schooner Waiapu sailed for Whangarei, where she loads coal for Gisborne. Last night the steamer Ngunguru arrived from Whangarei. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Rangitira, from this port, arrived at Gisborne on Friday night, On Saturday tho steamer Kahu arrived at Lyttelton from tho Chatham Islands, and left again for the same place on Saturday "'l'hc Union Company's stamer Upoln took in a supply of coal at Opua on Saturday, and left in the evening for Suva. On Thursday last the schooner Clansman from Port Chalmers to this port was sheltering in Hick's Bay. She should arrive about to-morrow. The barque Brier Holme sailed from Port Chalmers for London on Saturday. Yesterday afternoon the Union Company's steamer Dingadee left Gisborne for this port, and is expected to arrive to-morrow. She leaves for the East Coast and Wellington on Wednesday evening. The American barque Charles G. Rice, . tinder charter to Messrs. . • THE ROTOMAHANA. The Union Company's steamer Rotomahana left Gisborne for this port at nine o'clock yesterday morning, and should arrve between 7 and 8 o'clock this morning. She was delayed about two hours outside the bar owing to a mishap to the machinery.
