DESTRUCTIVE FIRE AT NORTHERN WAIROA.
The police authorities have received a telegram from Constable Davey, of Dargaville, stating that Mr. W. A. Marriner'a gum store, and a two-roomed cottage, below Mangawhare, on the Northern Wairoa, were burned to the ground on Tuesday night at 10 o'clock. The cottage, store, and stock are insured In the Northern Company for £1290, and in the South British for £200.
