Letters bearing an additional single rate of postage as a late fee for places beyond New Zealand, and on« penny for places within New Zealand (excoot Thames, Paeroa, and Coromandel), may be posted 20 minutes after the time appointed for closing mails. Late letters are not received for wails closing at 6 pin. The New Zealand Postal and Telegraph Guide can now he procured. Price, single copies 0J each; annual subscription, 2s. Private letter boxes may now be secured on application at the chief clerk's room. Fee for six mouths 10s; fee for twelve months, St. Postage on Newspapers.-The public are reminded that it is necessary to WM'Jii newspapers for the United Kingdom and foreign places.
