THE BLAND HOLT SEASON.
Last night the Opera House was crowded to its utmost in every part. From floor to ceiling there was not standing room, And the production, by the Bland Holt Company, of "The Span of Life," went off most successfully in every particular; every scene was loudly applauded, and every artiste hart to reappear at the fall of the curtain. The nij»nti was hot, tho theatre crowded, and yet none thought of leaving until tho curtain finally fell. The scenery, the mounting, andjthe acting, were ail uniform, and the production was one of the most sensational and realistic ever seen in New Zealand. " The Span of Life" will be again produced this evening.
