Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Devonport Steam Ferry Company (Limited) will be held on MONDAY, the 14th day of October, 1895, at the hour of 2.30 in the afternoon, at the Borough Council Chambers. Devonport, when the subjoined Resolution, which was passed at the Extraordinary Meeting of the said Company, held on Thursday, the 26th day of September, 1895, will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Resolution :— "That the Devonport Steam Ferry Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, and that Ewen William Alison be appointed Liquidator thereof." Should the Resolution be confirmed, a further Resolution will be proposed at the same Meeting for the purpose of fixing the said Liquidator's remuneration. By order of the Board, ALEX. An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Sliereholders of the Devonport Steam Ferry Company (Limited) will be held on MONDAY, the 14th day of October, 1895, at the hour of 2.30 in the afternoon, at the Borough Council Chambers, Devonport, when the subjoined Resolutions will be proposed ;— 1. That the Liquidator of the said Company be, and he is hereby, authorised to consent to the Registration of a New Company to he named " The Devonoort Steam Ferry Company (Limited)," with a Memorandum and Articles of Association, which have already been prepared with the privity and approval of the Directors of this Company. 2. That the Draft Agreement submitted to this Company, and expressed to be made between this Company and its Liquidator of the one part, and the said new Company called " The Devonport Steam Ferry Company (Limited)" of the other part, be, and the same is hereby, approved ; and that the said Liquidator be, and he is hereby, authorised to act in pursuance of Section; 222 of the Companies Acts, 18S2, and underthe powers thereby conferred of all other powers him thereunto enabling to enter into an agreement with such new Company (when incorporated) for the sale to that Company of this Company's business and assets in terms of the said Draft, and to carry the same into effect. Should the Resolutions be passed by the required majority, they will be submitted for confirmation as Special Resolutions to a second Extraordinary Meeting, which will be subsequently convened.
