COURSING.
[B7 TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION, ] Napier, Wednesday. About five hundred were present at the Plumpton Park Club's first Coursing Meeting. The visitors expressed surprise at the completeness of the appointments, which they said with good management, should make Hawke's Bay the head centre of coursing in the colony. Visiting dogs had the best of it throughout the day. For the final course only two local dogs are left in. The Inaugural Stakes were commenced today, the position at the close being Clements Tonic, Papakura, Here's to 'ee, The Imp, Locket, Primrose, and Cushla, being left m to resume the contest on Saturday.
