The Union Co.'s steamer Australia, Capt. John Gibb, arrived from Wellington and East Coast ports yesterday afternoon. Mr. Reeves, the purser, reports that the steamer left Wellington on the 4th instant, Napier on the 6th, and called at Gisborne, Tologa Bay, Tokomaru, Waipiro, and Awanui on the 7th, and Whaugaparoa and Orate Point on the Bth, arriving at the Queenstreet Wharf at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Experienced fine weather and smooth sea from Wellington to the East Cape ; thence across the bay and to arrival strong head winds and sea were met with. The Australia leaves for the East Coast and Wellington this evening, calling at Tauranga on the way. Yesterday afternoon the Union Company's steamer Mararoa left for East Coast and Southern ports. The Huddart-Parker steamer Tasmania left for East Coast and Southern ports shortly before 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Wellington left for Whangarei. The Northern Company's steamer Waiotahi left for Tauranga and Opotiki last evening. On Monday night the schooner Medora sailed from Awanui for this port, calling at Ohora on the way. Yesterday the schooner Welcome sailed from Wellington for Kaipara to load timber for Rockhampton. The Union Company's steamer Upola leaves Westport for Auckland to-morrow, and is due on Sunday. To-morrow the Union Company's steamer Moa leaves Gisborne for the East Coast and Auckland, and is expected to arrive on Sunday. The Australia brought up the Auckland consignments by the Uauroto from Melbourne yesterday. The Union Company's steamer Mahinapua, from Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth, is expected to reach Onehunga about noon to-day. Yesterday the brigantine Linda Weber was cleared at the Customs for the Hervey Group, and she will sail for Rarotonga this morning. THE ANGLIAN. The Huddart-Parker steamer Anglian, Captain P. LeNevußj arrived from Southern and East Coast ports last evening. Mr. Cerutty, the purser, reports :The Anglian left Dunedin at 12.30 p.m. on the 3rd instant, and arrived at Lyttelton at 10.40 a.m. on the 4th. Left Lyttelton at 9.30 p.m. on the sth, aud arrived at Wellington at 1.50 p.m., and left again at 8 p.m. the same date, arriving at Napier at 3.30 p.m. on the 7th. Lett Napier at 9 p.m. the same date, and arrived at Gisborne at 7 a.m. on the Bth, leaving again at 11.30 a.m., and arriving at 6.15 p.m. yesterday. Experienced south-west gale, heavy squalls, and high r ;a from Dunedin to Lyttelton; thence to Gisborne fine clear weather and smooth sea. After leaving Gisborne strong N.N.W. winds and squally weather to arrival. The Anglian leaves for Sydney at three o'clock this afternoon. THE TARAWERA Yesterday morning the Union Company's steamer Tarawera, Captain E. Phillips, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports. Mr. W. H. Bourne, the purser, to whom we are indebted for our files, reports :—The Tarawera left Dunedin at 1.30 p.m. on the 3rd inst., and arrived at Lyttelton at 8 a.m. on the 4th, leaving that port at 12 p.m. on sth, and arriving at Wellington at 1.45 p.m. on the 6th. Left again at 9.45 p.m. the same date, and called at Napier and Gisborne, leaving the latter port at 10 a.m. on the Bth, and arriving at 11.3 a.m. yesterday. Experienced moderate weather from Dunedin to Gisborne, thence strong head winds, and squally weather to arrival. The Tarawera leaves for Sydney at 5 p.m. today. THE FLORA. The Union Steamship Company are In receipt of cable advices from Sydney stating that the a.s. Flora from this port arrived there yesterday morning after a very rough passage, notwithstanding which all her sheep were landed in good condition, The Flora proceeds direct to Wellington from Sydney. THE RINGAROOMA. H.M.S. Ringarooma left Napier for this port yesterday morning and oalls at Waiwera on the way, ENGLISH SHIPPING. The New Zealand Shipping Company's cargo steamer Otarama left London for this port on Monday last. The barque Waimoa has arrived at London from Port Chalmers, and will load for the Bluff.
