[BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. Regulations under tho Inspection of Machinery Amendment Act, 1894, are gazetted, as also are the regulations for the eradication and prevention of the spread of disease among swine.
The period for the election of Boards of Conciliation for industrial districts is extended until July 1. The Hon. Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy as gazetted assistant private secretary to the Governor.
W. G. ©ill has been recognised as United States Consul at Dunedin.
James Gear, of Wellington, and William Mudge, of Wellington, have resigned their Commission of the Peace.
Edmund Humphrey Lyons is gazetted Registrar of Electors for the Electoral Districtof the City of Auckland, viceJ. Halyday, jun., and for the Electoral Districts of Eden, Parnell, and Manukau, vice G. M. Robei tshaw.
David Aitken Wright, of Helens Joseph Francis Fabian, of Whangaroa, are gazetted Registrars of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, and to be Vaccination Inspectors for these districts.
