VICTORIAN PRODUCE TRADE.
Press Association,—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright!.
London, May 15. The Scotsman says that the Victorian export trade in farm produce promises to equal, if not to outstrip, the most formidable competitors in other quarters of tne world. The factory system of dairying has already yielded results which its strongest advocates could hardly have expected. It advises more attention to the breeding ancl feeding of stock, with cheaper freights, and the more scientific raising of stock. Victorian farmers will be enabled to compete successfully against Sweden, Denmark, Canada, and America.
