London, May 9. Stodda-RT, speaking at a reception given to his team of cricketers on their return, stated that during the early part of the tour Richardson's customary style of bowling was useless, and he gave away -100 runs for !) wickets, and was not effective until he began pitching the balls two yards shorter than usual.
