THE PERTHSHIRE'S CATTLE.

[BT TX/iKfIKAPH.— PKK.SS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. The Health Department do not consider any further action re the Perthshire's cattle necessary, as there was no communication with the shore. All the cattle were Australian, and the Government will now have to consider the expediency of prohibiting the importation of Australian cattle. The Government have cabled to the Agent-General to take precautions to make it clear that the Perthshire's shipment of cattle has nothing to do with New Zealand, Communications are also passing with the Queensland Government.
