The popular concert, to-night, at the City Hall, is an exceptionally good one. Mr. John Fuller will sing The Anchor's Weighed," "The Pilgrim of Love," and " Sally in our Alley." Miss Phoebe Evans, a mezao-soprano vocalist from Sydney, of whom reports speak very favourably, will appear for the first time, as does Miss Lily Thomson, solo pianists and accompanist, and Mr. John Birch, elocutionist. The favourite duets, " The Army and Navy," and " Home to our Mountains," will be given. A cricket match will be played this afternoon, in the Domain, between the Dairymen and Drapers' clubs. The following will represent the drapers : —Messrs. Hopkins, Robertson, Morgan, Rowe, Hoyeg, Musker, Whealan, Firth, Fellows, Hollen, Mills; emergencies, Hpbson, Seawells. A lecture will be delivered by Mr. E. Withy, before the St. Barnabas' Literary and Social Society on " The Cause of Poverty," at Webb's Room, View Road, Mounc Eden, tomorrow evening.
