AN EXTRAORDINARY WATERSPOUT

[by telegraph.—PßESS association.) Invebcarqill, Wednesday. A waterspout at Parawa, near Kingstown, bored a great hole in the face of a mountain, carrying trees, rocks, and clay in its train. When ib reached the flat country it spread on and covered a portion of Gibson's farm with the debris, and also covered the railway line and filled a creek leading into the Mataura river. A rabbitter was caught in the tail of the storm, and was covered with red clay. The sun wss shining brightly a few minutes before.
