LAWN TIiNNIS. The following are the entries for the Association inter-club doubles to be played on Saturday between the Auckland and Onehunga Clubs One the Auckland ground : Misses Basset and Gibbons (O.) play Misses A. Nicholson and Ledingham (A.), Misses E. Bassettand Mr. Eliott (O.) play Miss Cozens and Mr. Baker (A.), Messrs. V. Frost and A. Suttie(o.)play Messrs. Robotham and Clarke (A.) On the Ouehunga ground: Misses Nicholson and M. Ledingham (A.) play Misses Banks and Young (0.), Miss L. Ring and Mr. Scherff (A.) play Miss Mulgan and Mr. C. Suttio (O.), Messrs. R. Scherff and E. W. Marriner (A.) play Messrs. Zinzan and L. Noakes (O.). GOLF. The second match for the president's silver cleek took place on the Greenlane links on Saturday last. A large number of players competed, and the scores with one exception (that of trie winner) were very close. Mr. O'Rorke, playinsc much above his usual form, proved the winner. He played one round of 53 and a splendid second round of 46, which was the lowest round of the day. Mr. O'Rorke holds the cleek fill the next competition. The following are the scores, from which it will be seen that a large number of players spoiled their scores by following a good first round with a bad second one Ist 2nd H'ndi- Net round, round.
