On the 7th December a very successful concert was held iu the Presbyterian Church, Wade, in aid of the District School Library. The gathering; wets a large one. A number of friends from Wainui, Whangaparoa, and elsewhere kindly took parkin the programme, which was of an interesting and enjoyable character, its appreciation being manifested by several encores. After a few introductory remarks by the chairman (Mr. W. Cain), the programme was successfully gone through. The usual votes of thanka followed.—[Own Corresponded.]
