OTAGO V. SOUTHLAND. [BY TELKQRAPH. — PRICKS ASSOCIATION.} Invekoakgiix, Wednesday. The annual interpretvihcial football match, Otago v. Southland, was played to-day, in wretched weather. The ground was in good order, but, of course, slippery by reason of the pelting storms of rain and hail which fell while the game was in progress. The teams were very equally matched, and the game ended: Southland, 3 points; Otago, ml. It had been thought that the visitors would have the best of it Boss, their fullback, was lamed in the first spell, and was not muoh use after wards. The teams will meat again in Dunedin this season,.
