[by TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION. 1 * I Wellington, Thursday. A cask of supposed suicide was reported this afternoon, [ A woman named Jane Westfield resided by , herself in Taranakistreefc, when nob engaged nursing. To-day her sister, Ann Lane, visited the house, and found Mrs. Westfield lying dead on her bed, fully dressed. The body presented the appearance of having lain for some time. Alongside the bed were found a small phial and cup, which had contained carbolic acid. Evidently the deceased had committed suicide. She had suffered from some disease of the eye. Deceased was 58 years of age, - a native of London, and had been in the colony for 20 years. ''■ .V,
