Mrs. Hoare wishes to tender her most sincere thanks to the crews of the vessels in Ngunguru and residents, who so kindly gave their assistance and found the necessary means to bury her late husband, Phillip"Hoare, who died from the effects of suffocation white asleep in his berth in the cutter Tarn iki Packet; also, to Mr. C. Mnllsr and Mr. Whittingfaam for £5 collected by them from kind friends at Ngunguru and given to me.
