SIR GEORGE GREY.

Press Association.—Electric —Copyright, * London, April 26. Her Majesty invests Sir George Grey with the office of Privy Councillor at Windsor on Monday.

Mr. Seymour George yesterday received the following telegram from the Premier:— "Through His Excellency the Governor hare been informed Her Most Gracious Majesty has been pleased to direct that the distinction of Privy Councillor shall be conferred on my esteemed friend, Sir George Grey. I have on behalf of the people of Mew Zealand congratulated him.—B. J. Seddon, Wellington."
