THE CANTERBURY EDUCATION BOARD.
[BY TELEGRAPH,— ASSOCIATION.] Christohuroh, Thursday. At a meeting of the Board of Education, to-day, Mr. R. Meredith, M.H.R., was elected ehaiaman for the ensuing year. The Building Committee reported thab the statement which had been prepared showed the building account to be overdrawn to the extent of £1368, and thab the liabilities amounted to £3000 more.
