Wynyard won the toss, and sent the sailors in to bat oh a capital wricket, and so well did they do that 157, runs, were on the board before the .last wicket fell.' iAfter partaking of luncheon and having ! been photographed by Mr. Logan,' the sailors took the field, and the first 3 wickets fell for 55 runs. Hume and Williamson then made a formidable stand, and when Hume retired with 48 runs to his credit the score was 138 for four wickets ana only 20 runs required tto win.
