Potatoes continue a glut, and at preseut there appears no prospect of any improvement. Demand for cereals remains quiet. Fruit is in good supply; the shipment from the Islands by the Upolu arrived generally in indifferent condition, and prices were low in consequence. Fresh butter was a shade lower than last week. Aitken reports brisk business in farm produce, the output being large and supplies all round heavy. Prime Hobarfc potatoes fetched £3 per ton. ' Magnum Bonum and other white varieties, 30s to 50a per ton. Cow potatoes were in better demand at from 30s to 40s per ton. Onions fetched id to Id per lb ; although full supplies are received from the South, pickling onions are- in demand at Id per lb. Carrots sold at, from 30s to 40s per ton ; kumeras, £3 pel' ton.
