GUNPOWDER EMPLOYED.

(BY TELEGRAPH.— association.] I -'.. : Christchurck, Tuesday. I Two or three cases of burglary have occurred at Rangiora during the last few days. On Monday night the premises of Mr. G. Jones, watchmaker and jeweller, were broken into. The burglar got nothing, however. The ineffectual effort to destroy the lock of the safe containing the valuables, was made by moans of gunpowder.
