' _-j_ I I The monthly meeting of the Buckland " Band of Hope was held in the School, on i Dec. 21st. Mr Jones occupied the chair, and ; Miss Sharp presided at the harmonium. The ! following is the programme :— Recitation, ; M. Pulman; recitation. Miss Cotter; duet, • 1 " They All Love Jack,'' Misses Gregory and ! Buckley. These young ladies were encored ami. responded with the action song, " Cock 1 Robin." Song, Mr Pulman : recitation, Miss Buckby (encored) ; song, Mr Gilmour ; song, Mr Pulman. During the evening the President, in a neat speech, presented the five certificates won at the late Exhibition by : members of the Buckland Band of Hope. | During the evening several of Hoyle's hymns , were heartily sung by the audience.—[A Corl respondent]. f The Best and .
