The ground was perfectThe event took place at Te Aral was between teams from Auckland and Poverty Bay. The latter scored fast from beginning, and •had recorded six goals before Auckland scored. The game resulted :—Poverty Bay, '8 goals r Auckland, 2. The teams'were— Auckland: Dr. Purchas (captain), W. Bloomheld, Wvnyard, and Dr. Forbes.
