ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY STEAMERS. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyrifht. Madrid, December 26. The Anarchists' plot at Barcelona was discovered through the agency of an eight-year-old child. The evidence to be adduced at the trial of the men now in custody will unravel the whole Anarchist conspiracy. Madrid, December 27. The Anarchist who threw the bomb in Barcelona Theatre, and the Italian who placed bombs under the seat, have both been arrested. They have since confessed. Paris, December 26. A small petard was exploded in a church at Beziers during the celebration of Mass at midnight A panic ensued among the congregation, but fortunately no lives were lost,, Later. The reported explosion of a petard in a church at Beziers was a hoax. London, December 26. The discovery of a number of incipient tires and a quantity of dynamite on steamers bound to America leads to the belief in shipping circles that a conspiracy is on foot to destroy the whole fleet of vessels. In one instance the dynamite was warm from the heat occasioned by one of these outbreaks of tire.
The Anarchists have written to the authorities, threatening to dynamite the Eastern Railway line.
The. Anarchists who have been expelled from Paris and other continental cities are flocking to London.
