The Union S.S. Company's steamer Mahinapua, Captain W. J. Newton, arrived shortly before noon yesterday from Wellington, Pictou, Nelson, and Mew Plymouth. Mr. G. A. Hodson, the purser, reports j— Left Wellington at 515 p.m. on the 23rd instant, and arrived at Pictou at. 10.10 p.m. the same da}-. Left again at midnight for Nelson, arriving there at 820 a.m. on the 24th. Left Nelson for Taranaki at 8 p.m. on the 25th, arriving there at 10.45 am. on the 26th. Left Taranaki fo.'- the Manukau at 10.30 p.m. the same day, crossed the bar at 10.20 a.m., and reached the wharf at 11.40 a.m. yesterday. Experienced one weather with smooth sea throughout. . . . The Northern Company's steamer Kanieri arrived from Opuuake and Wait&ra early yesterday morning, and left again m the afternoon for Raglau.
