We hare to acknowledge the receipt of £2 7s 6d from the employees of the Union Oil, Soap, and Candle Company (Limited), and 10s from X.Y.Z., towards the Baillie fund, which with amount previously acknowledged makes a total of £309 0s 9d received at the Herald Office. An advertisement in another column states that Messrs. J. B. Gilfillan and Co. have been appointed agents tor two English firms.
