BUILDINGS FOR CASES OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
■» [by telegraph.— PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Dr/NEDiN, Thursday. A deputation from the City Council waited on the Charitable Aid Board to-day to confer in regard to providing accommodation for cases of infectious diseases. The general opinion was that it was not desirable meantime to erect a building but that each case should be dealt with as it arose. A resolution was also carried, " That under the Public Health Act it was the imperative duty of each Board of Health to provide for cases within its jurisdiction, and that it is not desirable the Charitable Aid Board should incur any cost in providing a building for infectious diseases."
