SYDNEY.

Sydney, September 18. A sensational shooting case occurred on Saturday night. West, cashier at Anthony Hordern's big establishment in George-street, shot a salesman named Liddle dead. The latter was annoying West in some way, and the cashier pointed a revolver at him. The weapon went of! accidentally, West alleges, with fatal results. He was arrested.
Later.
The verdict upon the death of the man Liddle was, "Shot by misadvenventure." ■
